Pseudo-seculars support those forces which are out to break India
Some media and political outfits of India are zeroing in on the Rohingya issue with much passion. But they do not cry out when certain people, both at national and international level, are tortured and persecuted and their tears cascade when only some particular groups’ human rights are violated. They write and shout not for all mankind but certain kinds of man. To them only some people are humans and hence entitled to rights and others deserve no animal existence even. The chameleon’s double standards get exposed despite all nimble antics and gyrations it resorts to.
It is astonishing, their human rights defense craze often expresses as anti-nationalism. Their ongoing campaign favouring the Rohingya Muslims reveals their barefaced hypocrisy. Definitely many human rights violations are going on all around, but these Indian press and human rights outfits remain blind to them. As well known, the atrocity unleashed on the Kashmiri Pandits during 1990s beggar description. In the communal conflagration which nearly eradicated the Pandit community from Kashmir, many were killed, while almost all their immovable property were destroyed or looted beyond recovery. Ministry of Home Affairs’ Profile of Terrorist Violence – in Jammu and Kashmir bristles with the innumerable dastardly murders of the Pandits by Islamic terrorists. Thus go some reports:
“The terrorists had abducted one Brij Nath Kaul and his wife Ratna and his sister Sunitha from their house on 26 May 1990. After having stripped the women naked and molested in front of a large number of people, the terrorists took them to an isolated place and gang raped. Brij Nath was clubbed to death while the women, tied to a jeep, were dragged with high speed and killed.”
On March 19, 1990 the militants barged into the house of N. K. Ganjoo, a Junior Engineer in the Post and Telegraph department. It was at Chotta bazaar, Srinagar. “Ganjoo hid himself in a tin rice drum but was found out. The terrorists did not wait a second; they pumped several rounds of bullets into the drum, as his horrified wife and family watched. Then in a psychic twist, they forced his wife and his daughter to taste the blood soaked rice.”
These are only a few of the many such. With an overwhelming majority of terrorists brandishing Kalashnikovs around, the horror stricken minority resorted to mass exodus beyond the Jammu and sought asylum outside Kashmir. The number of the migrant Pandit families registered in different places of India by December 1988 amounted to 29,074 in Jammu, 19,338 in Delhi and 2,743 in other parts of the country, and the number of migrant camps to 15 in Jammu with 4,676 families and 14 in Delhi, accommodating 240 families. The list is incomplete and there were many who lived in private houses and many more in anonymity. Having thus left their homeland with their precious life, leaving all the possessions they hard-earned till date, this native community of India is living like refugees in own country. But no press, no human rightists shed tears to redress their grievances.
India’s ‘secular’ media remained blind to the human rights violations outside too. From 2007 onwards Yazidis were killed in a series of car bomb blasts by Al-Qaida and ISIS which denounced them as infidels. Yazidis were openly massacred and their girls auctioned as sex slaves for as low a price as just ten dollars. In the videos of sex slave market young Yazidi girls are seen dragged by hairs with shouts, “she is a virgin: ten dollars for this virgin”. Those denied to yield were shut in iron cages and burned. Vian Dakhil, Yazidi Member of Parliament is seen in a video crying out to the world to send planes to bomb them if it cannot save. Very much appalling has been the state of Yazidis notwithstanding, India’s ‘secular’ media kept a studied silence favourable to the butchers and lechers.
But their hackles rose while covering the Rohingya exodus from Myanmar. Why those who kept silence in above cases took up cudgels with the illegal Rohingya migrants having links with terrorist outfits in Pakistan. Brooding over the past, one comes across the Indian Communists who celebrated the Pakistan Day and led pro-Peking rally during Chinese invasion of India or some of the recent Indian TVs’ celebrating ‘Pakistan’s apt reply to India’ at the UN. There are forces who slogan ‘Hindustan Murdabad’ and warmly welcome proselytization and Jihadi terrorism to destroy the nation. They hate the nation and its millennia old culture because in such cultured society opportunists and bandicoots will have no existence. Least interested in the welfare of Indians, these anti-nationals have no qualms to demand India accommodate the Rohingyas at the cost of National security. Sworn to destroy the nation, they would entertain any devil prone to do it away. Hence their call to tolerate all illegal migrants who, they know, would spread like cancer on the body of India.
True, India has down the millennia been sheltering the refugees and proud of having been hospitable to the suffering and the persecuted. But with the case of Jews as an exception, all the other hospitality shows landed it only in trouble.
India has been a victim of invasions from across her borders down the centuries leading to the persecution of the natives and their culture. Salutary neglect to cross-border infiltration and the intruders’ settlements in the border districts of late by successive governments have deprived the Indian citizens of their basic rights and the security force men their lives. Reports abound on the Rohingyas’ link with the terror outfits of Pakistan which help most of them move to Jammu where they could counterpoise the Hindu majority which votes BJP to power. Most of them have fake Indian Identity cards and mobilize funds for anti-Indian activities through hawala routes. They are supported by Al Qaeda and Lashkar-e-Tayyeba in anti-Indian activities and the J&K police have registered cases against many Rohingyas for various crimes including illegal border crossings. Accused of acting as Pak-based LeT agents to fuel secessionism in Rakhine and smuggle drugs and arms in the Northeast through its cadres in Burma, they have been acted on tough by the respective government. The report of former UN Secretary General refers to the Muslim Mujahidin rebellion shortly after Myanmar’s independence in Rakhine for an autonomous Muslim area in the north of the state. Though temporarily suppressed, Rohingya Solidarity Organisation did not leave it off. Their attack on the government security forces in October 2016 was one of the largest Muslim attacks on Government forces. Their attack on the Buddhists and the police was so brutal that Myanmar government resorted to military action to get rid of the terrorist menace. They convinced even the Nobel peace prize winner that peace is no solution to terror, but only the guns!
What is more indigestible than anything is the Indian anti-nationals’ hypocrisy of waving green flags to the infiltrators. They are not sympathetic to the Kashmiri Pandits nor to the Yazidi Muslims. Even an educated and enlightened refugee as Taslima Nasreen, they would decline. These pseudo-seculars would welcome only those forces hell-bent to destroy India. It is for the Indian government to ensure that infiltrators and illegal migrants are warded off. It should listen to what the Buddhist monk Ashin Wirathu, head of Patriotic Association of Myanmar said: “You can be full of kindness and love, but you cannot sleep next to a mad dog”. India should not shelter the terrorists disguised as refugees.
