Navjot Singh Sidhu may face jail in road rage case

With the Supreme Court  reopening the  road rage case against cricketer-turned Punjab Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu, it is likely he may have to face jail term.

The Supreme Court had on May 15 acquitted Sidhu of culpable homicide charges in the 1988 road rage case. Sidhu was let off with a fine of Rs 1,000. However, with the reopening of the case after a review petition was filed by the victim’s family, the court may reconsider harsher punishment for Sidhu.
