It is a common tendency of the west to criticize the east for their age-old tradition, however, time has proven them wrong when they realized the scientific reason behind the same. We have seen them who were mocking at the so-called rituals and then secretly or openly practising in order to get benefited out of this. Often we find ‘the old wine in a new bottle’.
Such is the ‘new’ technology known as ‘Manifesting using water’. Seriously? – You would ask, but they say you can manifest anything in your life with just a few drops of water. It is the same – we call it Teerth, the holy water that we consume after a pooja that we believe contains the mystic vibrations of the mantra.
Here is what the west says:
We’re constantly manifesting things all the time. On Learning-Mind, Dmitriy (aka LifeScriptdoctor) shared a great technique to manifest making a wish come true. This technique is known as Glass of Water, which is handy since it uses a glass of water.
The Procedure
- First, take a piece of paper, write down something you need or a wish you want to come true.
- Get a glass that means something to you, and fill it with clear water.
- Attach the paper with your affirmation or wish on it to the glass.
- Rub your palms together to activate the energy flow in your hands, and place them on the glass of water.
- Say the affirmation or wish out loud or silently.
- Drink the water.
Do steps one through seven every morning when you wake up, and every evening before you go to sleep.
Two weeks should be enough for small wishes, but larger wishes may take up to three months or longer depending on their complexity.
The Indian Perspective
You don’t have to do any of these things mentioned above. If you are one who visits a temple in the morning during your morning walk, get teerth jal from the temple, hold it within your palm, offer your prayer and say what you wish you to be and with the same prayer consume the water. It is as simple as this!
Visiting a temple is not about being religious or spiritual – a morning walk, a brief meditation, a swift yoga programme, recharging the soul with the abundant life energy – it contains all these. While it has to be made a routine in our life, if there is anyone who wouldn’t wish to visit a temple, they can keep a glass of water where they lit lamp (preferably a brass or Copper vessel) hold it in your hand, offer the prayer and then just consume it. This would easily work!
Try this – moreover, try to follow what our ancestors have told – for what they have shared is the results of thousands of years of research and they can never go wrong!
