Look at the photo; three models wear kate makeup; Japanese-French model Mayben Leans in from the left; American-Japanese model Aria Polkey glances around on the right and in the centre, CGI model ‘Imma,’ holds their cheeks and pulls them in together toward her signature pink bob.
Here, Imma Gram is a virtual girl with 50.3k human followers. her interests are Japanese culture and film and apparently, modelling. imma, or someone running imma’s account, respond to followers’ comments and, overall, seems like a kind young role model, for humans, computer graphics, and AI everywhere. this is her first debut with i-D japan, but we expect to see a lot more from her in the near future.
Imma was created by CG company ModelingCafe, who transposes her 3D animated head onto a real-life body and background. Imma takes her name from the Japanese word ima which means now. The hyper-realistic detail of Imma’s face is reportedly thanks to having female engineers work on the project.
Apparently, it is only women who wear makeup that could understand exactly what detailing would perfect Imma’s look.
